  1. Season pork ribs with fish sauce black pepper garlic and shallots marinate for 30 minutes
  2. Heat oil in a pot and brown the marinated pork ribs
  3. Add turmeric powder and pork broth simmer for 45 minutes until meat is tender
  4. Meanwhile boil quail eggs for 3 minutes then peel and set aside
  5. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions drain and portion into bowls
  6. Divide the cooked pork and quail eggs among the noodle bowls
  7. Ladle a small amount of the turmeric broth over each bowl
  8. Top with chopped peanuts and green onions
  9. Serve with fresh herbs lettuce and nuoc cham dipping sauce on the side
