- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the yogurt (or milk) and oil (or melted butter) to the egg mixture and mix well.
- Gradually incorporate the flour and baking powder into the wet ingredients until you have a smooth batter.
- Divide the batter into two equal parts in separate bowls.
- Add the vanilla extract to one half of the batter and mix well.
- Add the cocoa powder to the other half and mix until completely incorporated.
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- Alternately add spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batters into the pan, creating layers.
- For a more defined marbled effect, use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve as a delicious snack with tea or coffee.
