  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the yogurt (or milk) and oil (or melted butter) to the egg mixture and mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate the flour and baking powder into the wet ingredients until you have a smooth batter.
  5. Divide the batter into two equal parts in separate bowls.
  6. Add the vanilla extract to one half of the batter and mix well.
  7. Add the cocoa powder to the other half and mix until completely incorporated.
  8. Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  9. Alternately add spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate batters into the pan, creating layers.
  10. For a more defined marbled effect, use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together.
  11. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  12. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  13. Slice and serve as a delicious snack with tea or coffee.
