Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 6 ct donut pan or muffin pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg/cardamom and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, egg, milk, sour cream and melted butter.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and whisk until fully combined and smooth.
- Spoon batter into donut pan cavities, filling about 3⁄4 full.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until tops bounce back when lightly pressed. Cool 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush cooled donuts with melted butter then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
- Place coated donuts on cooling rack and enjoy!
