  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or using a microwave in short bursts stirring frequently.
  2. Spread the melted chocolate onto a flat baking sheet lined with parchment paper smoothing it into an even layer.
  3. Sprinkle the mixed nuts and dried fruits evenly over the melted chocolate pressing them gently to adhere.
  4. Allow the chocolate to cool at room temperature or refrigerate until it hardens completely.
  5. Break the chocolate bark into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container for later.
