- Heat canola oil and 15g butter in a large skillet over medium high heat
- Once the pan is sizzling add shrimp and season with freshly ground black pepper
- When shrimp turn pink on one side flip them over
- Add minced garlic and toss continuously for 1 minute
- Add red pepper flakes and remaining 45g butter stir until butter melts and cook for 1 minute
- Add lemon juice and white wine stirring to combine
- Increase heat to high and bring to a boil while basting shrimp several times
- Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving bowl
- Continue cooking the sauce for 2 minutes until reduced by half
- Stir in fresh parsley
- Pour the reduced sauce over the shrimp
- Serve immediately with crusty bread
