  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C or 400°F
  2. In a mixing bowl cream together the soft butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Add the almond flour eggs and rum to the butter mixture Mix until you obtain a smooth almond cream filling
  4. Place one sheet of puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Spread the almond cream mixture in the center of the pastry leaving a 3cm border around the edges
  6. Hide the bean or charm in the almond cream
  7. Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry and seal the edges firmly by pressing with your fingers
  8. Brush the top with beaten egg yolk
  9. Using a knife create a decorative pattern on top by lightly scoring the pastry in a diamond or swirl pattern
  10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and puffed
  11. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving
  12. Place the paper crown on top for traditional presentation
