  1. Combine warm milk sugar and yeast in a bowl Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine flour and salt
  3. Add eggs ube paste and the yeast mixture to the flour
  4. Mix until a shaggy dough forms then add softened butter
  5. Knead the dough for 10 to 15 minutes until smooth and elastic
  6. Place in a greased bowl cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size
  7. Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal portions
  8. Shape each portion into a roll and place on a lined baking sheet
  9. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes
  10. Preheat oven to 180C 350F
  11. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until lightly golden
  12. While still warm brush each roll generously with softened butter
  13. Roll in shredded coconut to coat
  14. Dust with powdered sugar before serving
