- Preheat the oven to 425F.
- Using a pairing knife, score a 1/2 inch border around the edge of the thawed puff pastry sheet. Poke holes all over the pastry with a fork.
- Brush the entire pastry with the beaten egg, discarding any remaining egg.
- Bake the pastry for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and press down the center puff with the back of a spoon.
- Spread pizza sauce inside the scored border, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, red onion, and olives.
- Bake for another 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil.
- Cut the puff pastry pizza into 9 equal squares and serve hot. Enjoy!
