  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
  3. Dip a slice of bread into the milk mixture, making sure both sides are well coated. Allow the excess to drip off.
  4. Place the bread slice on the preheated pan and cook until golden brown, usually about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining slices of bread.
  6. Serve the French toast warm. Enjoy!
