  1. To make the pasta dough, combine the flour and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour and crack the eggs into it. Beat the eggs with a fork, gradually incorporating the flour until the dough comes together.
  2. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. To make the filling, combine the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Stir until well combined.
  4. Divide the pasta dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll out each piece of dough into a thin sheet, about 1/8-inch thick.
  5. Cut the pasta dough into 2-inch squares.
  6. Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough in half and press the edges together to seal.
  7. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ravioli in the boiling water for 3-4 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  8. Remove the ravioli from the water with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Serve the ravioli with your favorite sauce.
